Your Instructor

CAPTAIN STEVE is a NAUI, SDI/TDI/ERDI, YMCA, & CMAS certified SCUBA diving instructor who learned to swim at the Norwalk Y at the age of three and to SCUBA dive in the auxiliary pool 25 years ago. CAPT Steve has served as Captain of the R/V Oceanic at The Maritime Aquarium, Island Girl, Orbit Diver II and several other local dive boats.

In addition, he is an Instructor Trainer for the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), teaching First Aid, CPR, CPR Pro and Emergency Oxygen Administration.

CAPT Steve is approved  by the National Maritime Center as an Instructor of USCG approved Merchant Marine Officer licensing courses.
